Hello!
Thank you for visiting
my site and sharing
your precious time with
me. My desire is to
share with you treasures
I discover in God's
vibrant Word, and from
moments raptured in
His embrace. People
who have known me well
and for years can attest
to the change God has
formed in my life. From
my perspective, the
changes are profound.
I know better who I
am and my worth in His
eyes ~ the eyes of the
One Who fashioned me
~ That is truly a treasure
worth searching for,
a treasure worth living
for. My prayer is to
express what I have
discovered about our
wonderful God, so that
you, too, might rush
into His embrace and
find this love that
transforms. In expectant
anticipation, Dianna
An
Introductory Note From
Genelle - New Anointing
Ministries
I
have known Dianna for
many years and I am
privileged to call her
my friend. She has a
deep and abiding love
for the Lord and an
honesty and sincerity
along with an almost
childlike faith in God
that is an inspiration
to all who know her.
She is an avid student
and has a great love
for the Word of God,
always striving to draw
closer to Him. She refers
to Him as "Abba"
because in her heart,
He is her very close
and loving Father. Though
she has a spirit of
tenderness and warmth,
she is not afraid to
speak out for her Beloved
Father and her faith
in Him. Dianna has a
real burden to help
lead lost and hungry
souls to Christ. As
you return to read her
articles, which will
be posted frequently,
with all issues archived,
you will see that she
is a gifted writer,
and will address issues
that are so very needful
for the world today.
So, I welcome Dianna
as an online minister.
This is her personal
ministry and I invite
you to visit often and
pray for her as she
contributes what the
Lord would have her
to say, and as He leads
the hearers He calls
here to her page. Let
all who enter be drawn
to the One Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ,
the author of all life.

Read Colossians 3:1-15
For
you died, and your life
is now hidden with Christ
in God.
SNOWY
GRACE
Several
areas in my backyard
are eyesores: ugly chicken-scratch
holes, metal watering
pans, an abandoned swing
lying on the ground
- odds and ends of life
scattered about. As
I glanced out the window
one day, I thought again
how I disliked the sight.
I told myself I should
clean it up, but other
responsibilities required
my attention. Besides,
it was cold outside
and just beginning to
snow. Hours later, I
passed the window again.
Where earlier only ugliness
caught my eye, now beauty
prevailed. A thick blanket
of powdery snow filled
in holes, flowed over
objects, and concealed
what I had considered
ugly. All was pure,
white, spotless. Our
lives are like that
backyard. They become
cluttered, dirty, and
ugly with sin. Then
we enter into covenant
relationship with Jesus.
We put on Christ, donning
his robe of righteousness
in exchange for our
robe of corrupted humanity.
Unlike the blanket of
snow that will melt,
this robe will be ours
forever. Now when we
go before God, the righteous
life of Jesus Christ
covers us. I will greatly
rejoice in the Lord,
my soul shall exult
in my God; for he has
clothed me with the
garments of salvation,
he has covered me with
the robe of righteousness.

A
PLEA FOR LIGHT
As
I roused up this first
morning of a new year,
in that peaceful state
between sleep and wakefulness,
I saw a picture in my
mind - not a dream but
a communication - and
immediately I knew the
meaning. I saw the skylight
of a major city in the
dark of night. Blackness
swallowed up the buildings,
the roadways, and the
large body of water
wrapping itself around
the perimeter of the
land. Lights sparkling
in the windows of the
buildings gave the only
indication that the
city existed. They shone
forth brilliantly highlighting
outlines of the structures,
dancing in the water,
making the darkness
retreat. I thought,
how lovely! then immediately
knew the meaning. It
is a picture of the
light shining in the
darkness, the purpose
for every Christian's
life. And I also knew,
for America, the church
is failing. I make this
a public plea to every
pastor, preacher, and
teacher within every
denomination of the
Body of Jesus Christ
- you do a difficult
job, but please dedicate
yourselves to selflessness
and to instructing the
rest of us to selfless
living. We don't know
how to live this way!
We need guidance! Stop
encouraging us to greed
and self preservation
in your teachings. Lead
us in the True way of
Jesus Christ - love,
obedience, unity. Then
all our needs will be
met, we will have abundance
to give to every good
cause, because then
God can trust us. Please,
stop worrying about
the collection plate
and how many people
walk through the doors
of the church. Instruct
us in the ways everlasting,
Father will take care
of the rest. We need
this! The world needs
this! If Christians
won't shine with the
true life and love of
God, then all will be
consumed by the darkness
invading our land.
Mark
8:34-36 Then he called
the crowd to him along
with his disciples and
said: "If anyone would
come after me, he must
deny himself and take
up his cross and follow
me. For whoever wants
to save his life will
lose it, but whoever
loses his life for me
and for the gospel will
save it. What good is
it for a man to gain
the whole world, yet
forfeit his soul? Matt
5:14-16 "You are the
light of the world.
A city on a hill cannot
be hidden. Neither do
people light a lamp
and put it under a bowl.
Instead they put it
on its stand, and it
gives light to everyone
in the house. In the
same way, let your light
shine before men, that
they may see your good
deeds and praise your
Father in heaven. (NIV)
