| What a night! To be able to be a part of Leon McAuliffe's
Christian Band is a great honor in itself, and when you add to it,
to sing back up with Wanda Jackson, the queen of the yodelers, well,
it's just the greatest! My folks, John and Nadine Clark, were ardent
fans of Leon, and the swing music of Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys,
and I'm sure they never once envisioned their only daughter would
some day be singing with him, and then recording with him on his
Gospel project! I have to say that I'm happy to have made them proud
of me! And when they met Leon, it was a thrill for them, and me
too! Notice how Leon has that look on his face that says, "I
love what I do!" And Wanda obviously does too. |
